Dear Troy First Family and Friends,

 

Troy First needs a little additional financial help from each of you this year for our Operations and Ministry budget.

 

We had a pretty good year in 2007 with both our income and expenses.  For 2008, however, our pledges are down about 10% while expenses have gone up slightly.  After getting together with all committee chairs for a line by line review of the 2008 budget requests, we cut enough to arrive at a budget slightly lower than last year’s.

 

By using most of the CLC income, all Troy Co-op income and last year’s net income (these items all went to the mortgage reduction reserves in 2007) we are able to close most of the gap between pledges and budget for 2008.  We need your help to close the remaining gap of $15,000.

 

With the help of each giving unit in the amount of about $2 per week, we will have a balanced budget.

 

We ask that all of you prayerfully consider our “Second Mile Giving” request for help.  The financial giving record you receive from the church will, of course, reflect your increased giving.
