| Stephen Ministry | A program designed to equip and support Christians to provide quality one-on-one lay ministry for those experiencing life's challenges. Each Stephen Minister receives 50 hours of training before entering a confidential care-giver/care-receiver relationship. We meet monthly for Peer Supervision and Continuing Education. Classes are year-long, beginning in the winter. Facing one of life's challenges? Need a Christian friend to walk with you? A Stephen Minister can help. The Stephen Ministers invite you to a Service of Prayers for Healing and Hope on Wednesday, May 9th from 6:30 - 7:00 pm in the Chapel. This brief time of meditative worship and soothing music is appropriate for anyone experiencing brokenness of body and/or spirit. Friends are welcome. |
