FUMC Children

Pre-school to Grade 5

During the Worship Service

4 years and under

Child care is provided on Sunday morningsfrom 9:30 - 11:30. During Sunday School time (11:20-12:00), we have child care for children 3 years and under. 4-year-old children are invited to participate in Spirit Seekers Sunday School class. We use a pager system for children 3 years of age and younger.

• Infants under 1 year old will go to our Baby Room, #203
• 1- and 2-year-olds will go to our Toddler Room, #206, where they participate in faith-based play and stories
• 3- and 4-year-olds will meet in room #208. The children learn from a bible-based curriculum and they will go with their teacher to the worship service for a brief children's message

K - 3rd Graders

These students are invited to join their families for the worship service. After the children's message, they will go to Jr. Church, where they will participate in Bible-based crafts, games, songs, stories, and fun.

4th-5th Graders

We invite these students to join their families for the worship service and participate in the children's message. They are then invited to go to Faith in Action, which focuses on mission activities. Faith in Action happens on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sundays of each month. On the 1st and 5th Sundays, these students will stay in the worship service. The schedule will be posted in your bulletin.

Sunday School

Pre-K -Grade 5 Spirit Seekers is designed so studenta and leaders can experience the Bible together through storytelling and puppets, art, science and nature, music and movement, cooking, and movies. Our four Spirit Seekers groups are divided by grade level:

• 4-year-old pre-Kindergarten
• Kindergarten-1st Grade
• 2nd and 3rd Grades
• 4th and 5th Grades
